The entrance to Little Harbour opens due north (true) leading into a completely enclosed, well protected harbour. The entrance is constricted to a 400 ft. wide channel, it is more than 20 ft. deep. A small shoal on the east side past the entrance carries 2 ft. of water, the course inwards should favour the western shore.
